全国にデング熱の感染が拡がり，疫学報告 The Epidemiology and Disease Control Division (EDCD) によれば，すべての地域 across all 77 districts by the third week of Bhadra (mid-September) [2024] で発生し，across 5 districts において500例を超える感染が確認されており，多い順に the highest number of infections は Tanahun with 1149 cases, followed by 764 cases in Kaski, 657 cases in Parbat, 552 cases in Kathmandu, and 533 cases in Chitwan である。全国の合計感染者数は6831例で，これまでに4人が死亡している。新たな感染例が大きく増えている地域は，some districts like Kathmandu and Chitwan である。
11月中旬まで間歇的な降雨があるため，蚊族の発生とデング熱感染リスクが継続し，the districts in the Terai region and the valleys in the hilly region は蚊族発生の好適環境 favorable environments for mosquitoes が生まれている。
