Raw milk cheese linked to French _Yersinia_ outbreak
ヤギのチーズ a raw milk goat's cheese brand に関連のあるエルシニア症アウトブレイク as part of a _Yersinia_ outbreak の中で、フランスでは130例以上の患者が発病した。
ベルギー、ノルウェー、ルクセンブルグでは各1例 one each in the _Yersinia enterocolitica_ biotype 2, serotype O:9 outbreak が確認されている。
チーズ（Etoile de Provence Banon AOP 100-gram with dates up to 2 Aug 2024）の回収が、各国 more than 20 countries, including Germany, Italy, Spain, the UK, and the USA で実施されている。
フランスにおいて患者が確認されたのは、2024年1月27日から6月28日までで、年齢は3歳から85歳までの中央値49歳である。最も感染が多く確認されている地域は Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, with 57 patients であるが、全国 all regions of mainland France で患者が確認されている。聞き取り調査を行った57人の最新の発症日は6月10日であった。これらの患者では、通常とは異なる大量のヤギチーズ摂取 An unusually high consumption of a type of raw milk goat cheese が認められている。
腸管エルシニア症の報告 Notification of enteric yersiniosis はフランス国内で義務化されているわけではないが、一部の検査機関 some medical labs regularly から定期的に the French Yersinia National Reference Laboratorycted and 3 confirmed _Yersinia_ outbreaks in France が報告され、データが送られている。
2022年、1558 patients recorded as well as one suspeている。
エルシニア症の症状は 3 to 7 days after infection に現れることが多く、発熱、腹部疝痛、水様性または血性下痢、頭痛、嘔吐などである。典型的には自然治癒し、1ないし3日間から最長で3週間継続することもある。
[Mod.LL－ 食中毒に関係するエルシニア菌 The 2 species of _Yersinia_ associated with foodborne disease として2種類 _Y. pseudotuberculosis_ and _Y. enterocolitica_ がある。後者は腹痛を伴うことがあり a hallmark symptom となる。腸間膜リンパ節炎 a mesenteric lymphadenitis のため、yersiniosis は虫垂炎 appendicitis と間違われることがあるが、その他の創部、関節、尿路などの感染もおこる。腹痛が強く、クローン病 Crohn's disease as well as appendicitis と間違われることもある。
診断の最初のステップは、糞便または血液内や、時に虫垂切除時の、病原体の確認となる。症例の約80％に下痢が発生し、腹痛と発熱はもっとも信頼できる症状である。糞便中のエルシニア菌の分離は難しいため、複数の国は血清学的検査に頼っている。
"_Y. enterocolitica_ は食肉 meats (豚肉、牛肉、ラムなど)、カキ、魚類、生ミルク内に存在する。食物の汚染の正確な経路はわかっていない。しかし、土壌や水質中、及びビーバー、ブタ、リスなどの動物に広く蔓延していることから、食品サプライ中に入る機会は多い。"
"最も多い「合併症」 The major 'complication' は、右下腹部の腹痛が主要症状の1つであるための不要な虫垂切除術である。、 ."
エルシニア症はまた、"反応性関節炎 reactive arthritis と関連し、はっきりした症状が欠如している the absence of obvious symptoms 場合でも起こりうる。The frequency of such post-enteritis arthritic conditions is about 2-3%" (1).

累積では from week 1 to 26, Nigeria に928例 confirmed cases and 162 deaths with a case fatality rate (CFR) of 17.5% が確認されているが、致死率は前年同期 the CFR for the same period in 2023 (19.5%) より低下している。
66% of all the confirmed cases were recorded from 3 states: Ondo, Edo and Bauchi, while 34% were from 25 other states.

Background on Cases

ウシの狂犬病 rabies 発生のおそれがあるため、病気または異常死の動物に触ったり、解体して食べたりしないこと
疾病管理当局 The Department of Disease Control は2024年、イヌ、ウシ、バッファロー、ネコなどのほ乳類の狂犬病発生状況 the rabies situation の監視を継続して行っている。
イヌやネコによる咬傷、ひっかき傷、舐めるなどを受けた場合、またはこれらの唾液が眼、口、傷に入った場合は、狂犬病ワクチンを接種することで発症予防を行うことが強調されている。ウシの解体や生肉の摂取でも感染するおそれがある。
7月11日、当局の責任者 Director-General of the Department of Disease Control は the Department of Disease がイヌ、ウシ、バッファロー、ネコの狂犬病感染の報告を継続して注視すると述べた。
2024年7月9日現在、狂犬病サーベイランスシステム the Rabies Surveillance Information System by the Department of Livestock Development により、北東部を中心に全国的に 182頭の動物の狂犬病感染 animals infected with rabies out of 3100 samples sent for testing, distributed throughout various provinces of Thailand, especially in the Northeast が確認されたと明らかにした。もっとも多く感染が認められた動物はイヌ、次いでウシやバッファローなどの反芻動物であった。感染の原因は、野犬による咬傷と考えられている。
ペットの飼い主は生後2－3ヶ月の時点で少なくとも2回の狂犬病ワクチンを接種し、毎年追加接種するなどの行動が重要である。
