Health unit warns of another measles exposure at London Children's Hospital

Soc Son - Hanoi 在住の54歳の患者は時々生のサラダを食べており、右季肋部の鈍痛で入院していた。超音波検査で最大38×26mmの多発する肝膿瘍が確認され、血液検査で肝吸虫陽性 positive for large liver flukes and _Toxocara_ spp との結果が判明した。
[Mod.ST－ "細菌、ウイルス、寄生虫、重金属などの化学物質に汚染された食品の摂取が Over 200 diseases の原因となっている。
"Foodborne diseases の食品汚染は、調理、配達、消費のチェーンのいずれでも発生しうる。水、土壌、大気の汚染や、食品の不適切な保管や製造など、環境中での汚染様式もある。

The following abstract is from a study, "Current status of human liver fluke infections in the Greater Mekong Subregion," by Sripa et al in 2021:
Abstract
"The Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) は、カンボジア、中国、ラオス、ミャンマー、タイ、ベトナムにまたがる、世界人口の4.5%にあたる3億4千万人以上が暮らす a trans-national region of the Mekong River basin in Southeast Asia である。
ヒトの肝吸虫症感染. Human liver fluke infections caused by _Opisthorchis viverrini_ and _Clonorchis sinensis_ はこの地域の大きな健康上の問題となってきた。Opisthorchiasis caused by _O. viverrini_ はタイ、ラオス、カンボジア、ベトナム中南部を中心に1200万人以上の患者が発生している。
Clonorchiasis caused by _C. sinensis_ は北ベトナムと Guangxi に常在し、推定3.5-5 million が感染している。
これらの感染症により、胆管炎 cholangitis, 肝線維症 periductal fibrosis, 胆石 gallstones, and 胆管がん cholangiocarcinoma (CCA), a fatal bile duct cancer などの複数の肝疾患 several liver and biliary diseases が発生する。
これら2種類の liver fluke species の分布地域の違いの決定因子は、カタツムリ snail species and geographic barriers である。
感染の主なリスク行動は、the GMS 内の特に the Tai/Dai/Thai/Laos ethnic groups, the major population in the GMS の人々の食習慣である the culture of eating raw fish "the raw attitude" である。
過去20年間に大きな変化があり、Opisthorchiasis は長らくタイ北部と北東部並びにラオスに常在し、over 8-10 million cases が発生していた。しかしタイ国内では複数回の全国対策キャンペーン several rounds of national campaign against opisthorchiasis using integrated control approach in Thailand over the past 3 decades により、the prevalence of _O. viverrini_ infection が over 15% in 1996 から2.2% in 2019 にまで減少した。ラオスとベトナム中部では今も High prevalence of _O. viverrini_ infection が続いている。新たにカンボジアでも過去10年間に最大 a maximum of 47.5% の新興がみられており、おそらく感染拡大ではなく、より多くの検査が行われたためと考えられる。
_O. viverrini_ infection は近年ミャンマー Lower Myanmar でも報告されている。
肝吸虫症 Clonorchiasis は以前からベトナム北部と中国南部で報告されていた。過去10年間 Guangxi での感染が報告されており、Yunnan ではこれまで liver fluke infected cases は報告されていない。
まとめると、there is a shift in high-risk areas for GMS liver fluke infection from northeastern Thailand to Lao PDR, Cambodia, Viet Nam, Myanmar, and Guangxi P.R. China. Urgent systematic disease mapping and integrated liver fluke control using One Health approaches should be implemented nationwide in GMS countries" (1)]
