リステリア _Listeria_ 菌が検出されたことを受け、魚のパテ Over 1000 packages of fish patties が回収されていると、2日 the Danish company Jeka Fish 社が明らかにした。研究所 Statens Serum Institut (SSI) からリステリア菌感染症アウトブレイク an outbreak of infection with _Listeria_ で1人が死亡したと報告されている。
SSI writes:
- Since July [2024], SSI has registered 7 people who fell ill and were admitted to hospital after being infected with _Listeria_ bacteria. One of the patients died within 30 days of the infection being detected.
- All 7 people had eaten fish patties. Furthermore, the bacteria found in the persons is identical to the bacteria found in samples from the production of fish meals. SSI therefore concludes that the infection came from there.

過去24時間に新たにデング熱による合計10名が死亡 more deaths due to dengue が報告され、2024年の死亡は310例となった。
In the recent fatalities, 4 were reported in Dhaka South City Corporation, 3 in Barishal division, and one each in Mymensingh division, Khulna division, and Dhaka division.
Since 1 Jan 2024, a total of 6万3165 dengue cases have been reported.
The DGHS recorded 321 179 dengue cases and 318 749 recoveries in 2023.

Haryana's dengue tally escalated to 3772 on Monday [4 Nov 2024], according to health department data. The highest cases have been documented in [districts] Panchkula (1181), followed by Hisar (379), Karnal (274), Sonipat (249), and Rewari (242). Gurgaon, so far, has 164 dengue cases, while a total of 113 individuals tested positive for dengue in Faridabad.

This troubling pattern prompted the district health department to mobilise resources and conduct medical camps in affected villages, including Sarkarpara, Talukdarpara, Chowdhurypara, and Dhanukpara, which together house around 4000 residents. Alarmingly, reports indicate that nearly 50 per cent of the local population has displayed symptoms of the fever.

Authorities find source of _E. coli_ outbreak in Iceland

Two types of dangerous quarantine viruses were discovered by specialists in the territory of Stavropol Krai. During laboratory tests of samples obtained during monitoring of the phytosanitary condition of the territory, the presence of pepino mosaic virus (PepMV) and tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) was detected in the provided samples.
