ベルギーの食品安全当局 AFSCA, the Belgian food safety authority は23日、ベルギーから輸入された粉ミルクにより、ロシア北部の乳児らにサルモネラ感染症 _Salmonella [enterica_ serotype] Oranienburg 感染が発生したと見られる、との発表を行った。19トンの1製造ロットの商品のうち、16トンがロシア向けに、残りの3トンが他の製造ロットと混ぜて複数の途上国向けに出荷されている。ベルギー国内および EU 圏内では、問題のロットは販売されていない。当局は製造工場の立ち入り調査を行い、再発防止のあらゆる対策を講じたとしている。ベルギーの会社で製造されたこの乳児用粉ミルクは、[Usolye-Sibirskoye, Irkutsk , Russia の] 16人の乳児のサルモネラ感染症に関係したと考えられている[20120122.139001]。感染が発生したのは、2011年11月2日から2012年1月13日までの期間で、生後2週間から24歳と29歳の成人までの患者全員が _S._ Oranienburg に感染した。製品はベルギー国内で製造され、JSC "STI Damil" (Moscow) が販売した ["Damil 1 Lux"] であることが確認されている

the All-Russian Scientific and Research Institute for Veterinary Virology and Microbiology の監視活動の中で、2011年に、ドイツから OOO "Kaluzhskaya Niva"(settlement of Khokhlovka, Peremyshl' Rayon [district], Kaluga Oblast [region] ）に送られてきたウシのブルータング血清検査が陽性 bluetongue seropositive であることが確認された。陽性だったウシは、送られてきた57頭中35頭(61%)だった。Smolensk Oblast でも、ドイツからのウシのブルータング感染が確認されている

われわれの報告 (Dunowska et al, Vet Micro, 2011）の中で the WPD virus is a novel nidovirus で、most closely related to the members of the current family Arteriviridae を示唆するデータを提示していることを申し上げておきたい。
