鳥インフルエンザに感染した鳥類への曝露： An exposed person を過去 10日間に感染があり発病または死亡した鳥類や群れに接触した個人と定義する。感染がある Infected とは、ヒトでの重大な疾病に関係もしくは引き起こす可能性がある、鳥インフルエンザAウイルスへの感染を指す。
曝露したヒトのモニタリング：最後の曝露から 10日間、自身について新たな発病に注意する。この期間毎日、発熱、呼吸器症状(咳、咽頭痛、息切れ、呼吸困難など)の有無に注意する。曝露したヒトに新たに発熱や呼吸器症状が認められた場合は、診察を受け、抗ウイルス薬治療や鳥インフルエンザの検査について相談できるようにすべき。
Exposed Persons への曝露後予防投薬： 曝露した全てのヒトに対して、抗インフルエンザ薬による発症予防投与 Chemoprophylaxis を検討する。抗ウイルス薬開始の決定は、曝露様式や曝露したヒトのリスクを考慮したうえで、臨床的に判断される (CDC)。抗ウイルス薬による発症予防投与を開始する場合は、通常の発症予防のための投与量( 1日1回)ではなく、治療に用いられる用量のノイラミニダーゼ阻害薬 the neuraminidase inhibitors oseltamivir or zanamivir (1 dose twice daily) が推奨される。

曝露したヒトのモニタリング：最後の曝露から 10日間、自身について新たな発病に注意する。この期間毎日、発熱、呼吸器症状(咳、咽頭痛、息切れ、呼吸困難など)の有無に注意する。曝露したヒトに新たに発熱や呼吸器症状が認められた場合は、診察を受け、抗ウイルス薬治療や鳥インフルエンザの検査について相談できるようにすべき。
Exposed Persons への曝露後予防投薬： 曝露した全てのヒトに対して、抗インフルエンザ薬による発症予防投与 Chemoprophylaxis を検討する。抗ウイルス薬開始の決定は、曝露様式や曝露したヒトのリスクを考慮したうえで、臨床的に判断される (CDC)。抗ウイルス薬による発症予防投与を開始する場合は、通常の発症予防のための投与量( 1日1回)ではなく、治療に用いられる用量のノイラミニダーゼ阻害薬 the neuraminidase inhibitors oseltamivir or zanamivir (1 dose twice daily) が推奨される。
医師は添付文書を良く読んで、用量、慎重投与、禁忌、副反応等を十分理解しておく。感染発生後の対策のための。、感染がない、あるいはないと思われる鳥類の処分作業の担当者に対しては、感染防護装備を行っていれば、一律に予防投薬は行う必要はない。
