4月8日、ウガンダ政府当局 the Natioal IHR Focal Point of Uganda から WHO に対し、Masaka district, south of Kampala.における黄熱流行 an outbreak of yellow fever (YF) について通報された。3月26日、Kaloddo village, Masaka district でウイルス性出血熱が疑われるアウトブレイクが発生した恐れがあるとの注意喚起があり、高熱があり抗マラリア薬の治療効果が見られない、出血症状がありけいれんや意識障害などの神経症状もみられる、同一家族内の3症例が集団発生した。

この春、11地域 different counties の40人に、サルモネラ菌による胃腸障害が発生した。公衆衛生当局 The Public Health Agency による患者からの聞き取りにより、ソーセージとの関連が疑われ、現在調査が行われている。Tulip Picante Salami Sticks brand GOL は、患者の自宅にあった開封済みパッケージからサルモネラ菌が検出されたため、アウトブレイクの原因として疑われている食品の1つである

Benzathine penicillin G is the recommended treatment for syphilis and the only treatment option for pregnant women infected with or exposed to syphilis. The recommended treatments for syphilis are outlined in the 2015 STD Treatment Guidelines along with alternative regimens. For more information regarding the availability of Bicillin-LA, visit the FDA Drug Shortage website and American Society of Health System Pharmacists Drug Shortage website ."
