中国農業当局 China's agricultural ministry は 16日，南西部の四川省 the south west province of Sichuan では初となるアフリカ豚コレラの発生 the 1st outbreak of deadly African swine fever [ASF] を確認した。同省南東部の Yibin city の，ブタ 40頭を飼育する農場で発生が確認された。2018年 8月初旬に中国国内で発生が確認されて以来，18か所の省または市での発生となった。
