デンマーク政府当局は，32人が感染し，19人が入院となったサルモネラ感染症 a salmonellosis outbreak を調査している。感染源は生の豚肉 fresh pork と見られている。10月中旬以降，_Salmonella [enterica_] monophasic Typhimurium 感染例の報告があったが，同菌はしばしば豚で確認されている。アウトブレイクの発生が確認されたのは 11月16日で，全国各地の 0歳から86歳までの，女性14名と男性18名の感染が確認されている。それぞれの症例に関連性は認められていない。Hovedstaden has 10 cases, Midtjylland has 9, Sjælland has 7, Nordjylland has 5, and there is one case in Syddanmark.

Between 30 Nov and 6 Dec 2018, EU Member States reported one human West Nile virus infection in Hungary. The most recent onset date reported by Hungary was from week 45, 5-11 Nov 2018. 18 cases were reported by EU neighbouring countries, all by Turkey, with the most recent date of onset reported from week 38, 17-23 Sep 2018. In 3 areas in Turkey human cases were reported for the 1st time. All other human cases were reported from previously affected areas. 3 deaths were reported this week in Turkey (2) and Italy (1).
