郡保健当局 The Imperial County Public Health Department (ICPHD) は 21日，2人の住民ら El Centro residents のセントルイス脳炎ウイルス St Louis encephalitis (SLE) virus 感染を確認した。2019年のカリフォルニア California 州内ではじめての the 1st human cases of SLE 報告と説明されている。いずれも中年の感染した 2名の患者らは，7月後半に激しい頭痛，発熱，嘔気の症状があり，ウイルス性脳炎の診断で入院となった。2名とも，El Centro の自宅で療養中と説明されている。

Gegharkunik province の小さな村で新たに 3人が炭疽検査で陽性となり，確認された患者数が 8例となったと，保健当局が発表した。治療を受け，回復に向かっている。20日，the Ministry of Healthcare は 5 people in Geghhovit village が皮膚炭疽 skin anthrax に罹患したと報告していた。

アルメニア食品安全当局 the Armenian Food Safety Agency の専門家らが，the source of anthrax infection in Geghovit village of Armenia's Gegharkunik province の原因を突き止めたと, the press office of the agency から 22日に発表された。2日前に 2 residents of Geghhovit village in Gegharkunik province に，炭疽によると見られる手掌と手首の傷が認められ wounds on their hands and wrists, believed to have been caused by anthrax， Martuni Medical Center を受診した。ウシの処分を手伝っていた。
