類鼻疽 Melioidosis が世界中で深刻な新興疾患 a serious emerging disease となりつつあり，原因となる好気性グラム陰性桿菌 _Burkholderia pseudomallei_ は，土壌及び水中 wet soil and surface water に存在する。ヒトには，皮膚からの移植，吸入，嚥下により感染する。降水量増加につれて発生する季節性の変化がある。南東アジアとオーストラリア北部の侵淫度が高い地域 high endemicity areas で多く報告され，他の熱帯地域からも散発的に報告されている。しかしながら過去の研究で，より多くの地域が菌の発育のための好適気象条件 the prerequisite climate for _B. pseudomallei_ であると予想されている。

Cattle with lumpy skin disease [LSD] have been slaughtered in eastern Mongolia, Mongolia's Food and Agriculture Minister Zagdjav Mendsaikhan said on Tuesday [16 Nov 2021].
"So far, a total of 1734 cows and bulls infected with the disease have been slaughtered," Mendsaikhan said in a statement.
