ボツリヌス症 botulism のため 2名の女性が入院となり，うち 1名は重症と報じられている。この患者らは，ブエノスアイレス近郊 the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Boedo のレストラン traditional restaurant から運ばれた，matambre (Argentian flank steak，ステーキ) と Russian salad （ロシアサラダ） を食べていた。サラダには，ゆでたジャガイモとニンジン，缶詰のマメ dried peas soaked in a can が入っていて，塩とマヨネーズで味付けされていた。自家製 matambre 4切れとプラスチック容器に入れて配達されていた。食事から 36時間後に，2人の女性に嚥下と発語困難，四肢筋力低下，複視の症状が現れた。このうち 1人が the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Municipal Sanatorium 'Dr. Julio Mendez の ICU に入院となり，もう 1名は ICU から退院している。いずれの患者にも抗ボツリヌス毒素製剤 botulinum antitoxin が投与された ... サンプルから，ボツリヌス毒もしくはボツリヌス菌芽胞のいずれも検出されていない。

ブイトーニ製冷凍ピザ The frozen pizza brand Buitoni (Nestlé) 全 16種類の緊急自主回収 the immediate recall of the entire Fraîch'up range, made up of 16 kinds が 18日発表された。製品の生地に大腸菌 _Escherichia coli_ bacteria 汚染のおそれがあるためとされている。回収対象地域はフランス全土に及んでいる。3月18日以前に Fraîch'Up frozen pizzas を購入した消費者らに対し同社は，消費することなく廃棄するよう呼びかけている。プレスリリースでは，回収の量および国の範囲は示されていない。仏保健当局は 12日，大腸菌汚染による重症感染例の増加があり，フランス国内で 2022年以降 小児 2名が死亡したと明らかにしていた。また，1月1日以降，重症溶血性尿毒症症候群 cases of serious hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS) が報告されているとも述べていた。調査により現時点で，冷凍ピザの摂取 the consumption of frozen pizzas from the Fraîch'Up range of the Buitoni brand が関係する可能性が示唆されるとしている。17日現在，同じ特徴を有する大腸菌が関係する HUS または重症感染例が 27 cases 確認されており，これとは別の 31例が現在調査中である，と説明されている。患者の年齢は 1歳から 18歳までで，中央値は 5.5歳で，発症日は between 10 Jan 2022 and 10 Mar 2022 であり，小児 2名が死亡していると，繰り返した。患者の発生が確認されている地域は，12 regions of metropolitan France: Hauts-de-France (13 cases), New Aquitaine (9 cases), Pays de la Loire (9 cases), Brittany (6 cases), Ile-de-France (6 cases), Grand Est (5 cases), Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (3 cases), Bourgogne Franche-Comté (2 cases), Center Val-de-Loire (2 cases) Normandy (1 case), Occitanie (1 case), and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (1 case) と the press release で詳細に説明されている。
