新たな 2価 mRNA ワクチン追加接種の有効性に関する研究 A US study of the vaccine effectiveness (VE) of the new bivalent mRNA COVID-19 boosters で，the original mRNA vaccines の 2ないし4回接種との比較で，症候性感染 symptomatic infections の予防効果が 28% to 56% 高いと推定されている。the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Eagle Health Analytics in San Antonio の研究者らが 22日の Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report で報告した。
