Trento, Italy において今春早くからダニが出現し、住民らの健康上の懸念となっている。病院関係者等により 2例のダニ媒介性脳炎 cases of tick bite encephalitis (Tbe) による入院患者が確認されている。幸いこの49歳と54歳の患者等は回復した。
3年前にワクチン接種を完了した人々に対し、追加接種が勧められている。

Introduction
During summer 2018, the index patient の40－50才女性が、海外での HIV 迅速検査で陽性 a positive rapid HIV test result while abroad とされたことについての評価を受け、a positive HIV antigen/antibody rapid test result, with positive confirmatory results the same day との結果により、indicating stage 1 HIV infection とされた。薬物注射、輸血、女性の診断後の HIV 検査で陰性だったパートナー以外との性行為はないと報告している。
しかしながら、2018年春にニューメキシコ州のスパ spa A in New Mexico において、during a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) microneedling procedure 濃厚血小板血漿の微少刺入術の針に曝露していたことを報告した。この施術は、患者から採血し、血漿と血液細胞を分離し、single-use disposable or multiuse sterile equipment を用いて、顔面にこの the PRPを操作を伴う。 皮膚若返りやニキビ跡の減少などの美容目的に行われる。
