Abstract
高病原性鳥インフルエンザ Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) A(H5N1) virus, clade 2.3.4.4b, genotype B3.13 infection が，酪農場のネコの間で報告されている。
別々の場所で主に屋内で飼われていた exclusively indoor，2024年5月に呼吸器と神経症状がみられたとされている2匹のネコで，高病原性鳥インフルエンザウイルス the detection of HPAI A(H5N1) virus infection in 2 cats が確認され，ミシガン州当局 the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and Mid-Michigan District Health Department (MDHHS/MMDHD) が調査を開始した。
飼い主の1人は酪農場で働いていたが，インフルエンザ influenza A(H5) virus の検査を断った; 3 other household members は陰性だった negative A(H5) test results。
もう1匹の飼い主は独居で，multiple dairy farms transporting unpasteurized milk の仕事をしていた; 殺菌されていないミルクを顔や眼に浴びたと報告していたが，検査は拒否した。
a county known by MDHHS/MMDHD to have HPAI A(H5N1) virus, clade 2.3.4.4b, genotype B3.13-positive dairy cattle の勤務者であった。
