Situation update
米国内の複数州における，乳牛，家きん，その他の動物の鳥インフルエンザアウトブレイク a multistate outbreak of avian influenza A(H5N1) virus, or "H5N1 bird flu," in dairy cows, poultry, and other animals in the USA による，公衆衛生上の困難な状態に対して CDC は対応を続けている。
2024年4月以降，米国内で70人の H5 bird flu 感染を確認したが，これまでのところヒト-ヒト感染拡大 person-to-person spread of H5 bird flu は確認されていない。the immediate risk to the general public from H5 bird flu remains low と考えている。
感染した患者の大部分 Most (67 of 70) confirmed human infections in the USA に，感染のあるウシまたは家きん infected or presumed-to-be-infected dairy cows or poultry との接触が認められている (the source of exposure could not be determined for 3 cases)。
Epidemiology updates
