Situation at a glance
2025年1月以降，アンゴラで規模の大きいコレラアウトブレイク a substantial cholera outbreak が確認されている。3月23日現在，合計8543 cases and 329 deaths (case-fatality rate (CFR) 3.9%) が確認されており，1/3 の死亡例が the community 内で発生している。
国内 16 out of Angola's 21 provinces のすべての年齢層に感染が拡大し，20歳未満の患者が最も多い。
Description of the situation
2025年1月初旬にはじめてコレラ感染例が報告され，3月23日の時点で累計8543 cholera cases が報告されており，このうち329例が死亡し deaths (致死率 CFR 3.9%), うち112 (34%) が in the community で発生した死亡例で，入院患者の致死率は2.5%である。
当初，2月初旬には週当たり1000例以上が報告されていた。3月23日の週にふたたび増加に転じこれまでで最多の1200例近いが発生した。
感染例が最も多い年齢層は6-14歳の1976例で全体の23.1%であり，followed by the 15-24-year age group with 1850 cases (21.7%) and the 25-34-year age group with 1475 cases (17.3%). Slightly over half of reported cases are male (4725; 55.3%) となっている。

Since the beginning of 2025, the province has recorded 2 outbreaks of African swine fever and 6 cases of rabies, including the 2 fatal cases in Long Thanh District.

2025年3月11日, the WHO に米国から麻疹アウトブレイクに関する報告 a report from the International Health Regulation (2005) (IHR) National Focal Point (NFP) of the USA on the ongoing measles outbreak in the country が届けられ，2025年に過去を上回る感染例と死亡例が発生し公衆衛生上の重大な影響のある通常ではないイベントであることがその理由である。テキサス州のアウトブレイク the outbreak in the State of Texas, USA に関連する症例がメキシコでも報告されている。
From 1 Jan to 20 Mar 2025 の期間に，17 states から合計378 cases of measles, including 2 deaths が報告されており，米国においては10年ぶりの麻疹による死亡例となる。
Description of the situation
17 states including: Alaska, California, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York State, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Vermont, and Washington.
The hospitalization rate is 17%.

Texas also reported 3 genotype D8 sequences (a total of 19 D8 sequences have been reported from the affected states) with single nucleotide substitutions. Additionally, a total of 5 distinct genotype B3 sequences were reported from the States of Alaska, California, Florida, Kentucky, New York, Rhode Island, Texas, and Washington. The source of this outbreak is unknown. Currently, there is no evidence of decreased vaccine effectiveness or changes in the virus that would result in increased severity.
