More badgers infected with rabies in Pingtung

Fish producer linked to fatal _Listeria_ outbreak in Denmark
およそ30人が感染し3人が死亡している、複数年にわたるリステリア症アウトブレイク a multi-year _Listeria_ outbreak について、デンマーク国内の調査が続けられている。
異なる2種類の菌 different _Listeria_ types と、Polar Salmon Hjerting Laks from 2018 to 2024 が関連している。獣医学食品当局 Fødevarestyrelsen (the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration) の調査結果より、同社について警察に通報されている。Statens Serum Institut, the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, and the National Food Institute が調査を行っている。
合計27人が発症し、one case each in 2018, 2020, and 2021 が含まれている。Two cases in 2019, 6 in 2022, 7 in 2023, and 9 in 2024 が確認されている。女性20人と男性7人で、年齢は28歳か88歳であり、感染確認から30日以内の死亡例は3人であるが、リステリア症感染によるものかは不明である。
アウトブレイクのうちの1件の原因菌は Listeria monocytogenes_ ST (sequence type) 1607 で、from 2019 to November 2024 の間に20例の感染が確認されている。聞き取りを行った16人中10人が調理済みの魚 ready-to-eat fish products の摂取を記憶していた。
2024年4月の欧州保健機関の調査 an outbreak assessment by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) により、ドイツの 1 case とイタリアの 2例が明らかになった。2021年に食品中で、2023年にデンマークの製造工場の環境中で、アウトブレイク菌 The outbreak strain が確認されている。The ECDC は製造工場内にリステリア菌が持続的に存在しており、汚染か所が把握されておらず管理できていないことが示唆されるとしている。
もう1件のアウトブレイク The other outbreak の原因菌は _Listeria monocytogenes_ ST8 で、from 2018 to 2024 に7例が確認されている。同一の菌 The same Listeria type が、the fish producer Polar Salmon Hjerting Laks の製品および生産工場で確認されており、患者から分離された菌に一致した。ドイツ、イタリア、スウェーデンの患者も、このアウトブレイク及びデンマークの工場で分離されたものと同じ菌と関連している。
