- of which (susp.) 4107 cases with 950 discarded as not microcephaly or due to non-infectious causes,
- 583 confirmed as microcephaly or other central nervous system abnormalities, of which 67 with laboratory confirmed Zika virus infections.
- Reported deaths of neonates or stillbirths: 120 with microcephaly or other CNS abnormalities; of these 10 discarded, 30 confirmed as microcephaly or CNS abnormalities, and 80 under investigation,
- Localities affected: 235 municipalities in 16 states including: Alagoas, Bahia, Ceará, Maranhão, Rondônia, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio Grande do Norte, Goiás, Rio de Janeiro, and Rio Grande do Sul.
