Lyantonde District で発生したクリミア-コンゴ出血熱 an outbreak of Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever (CCHF) により，1人が死亡，49人が隔離されている。保健当局者 the Lyantonde District Health Officer によると，7月31日にウシを取り扱う 42歳のビジネスマンが死亡した。Kasagama Sub County で死亡した患者からの血液検体で，CCHF 検査が陽性となり，それまで疑われていたエボラではなかったと，3日明らかにされた。
