要約

母乳中の SARS-CoV-2 抗体に関して多数の研究はあるが，これらの新生児での動態についての報告はほとんどない。22組の母児（出産前または後にワクチンを接種した母乳哺育の母親(とその出産児)）について，母体血，母乳，児の血液・鼻腔・便について調べた。母乳で育てられた乳児では，母親が出産前にワクチンを接種した場合に限り，全身性の抗体 systemic anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibodies が認められた。血液中の抗 IgA 抗体 SARS-CoV-2-specific IgA が認められた乳児はいなかったが，驚くべきことに，the antepartum group の乳児のうちの半数の鼻腔内で，母乳中よりも高力価の IgA 抗体 had high titer SARS-CoV-2-specific IgA が確認された。出産前にワクチンを接種しその後母乳で哺育することで，新生児にとって最善の全身および局所の抗ウイルス抗体 systemic and local anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies が付与されると考えられた

2021年8月20日， the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University (GHNMU) in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (Ningxia，寧夏回族自治区), China から，55歳女性のペスト感染例が報告された。腺ペスト bubonic plague から二次性敗血症性ペスト secondary septicemic plague を合併した。Ningxia および内モンゴル自治区 Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (Inner Mongolia) において，齧歯類の調査・駆除が強化して行われた。同症例のペスト菌の系統学的関連性 phylogenetic relationship of _Yersinia pestis_ (_Y. pestis_) strains に基づく感染源の追跡 source tracing には，遺伝子解析 Genome-wide single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) analysis が用いられた。Ningxia のこの症例から分離されたペスト菌と，患者の自宅付近で発見された齧歯類 ? local _Meriones unguiculatus_ (_ M. unguiculatus_) の菌株は，同じ系統 the same lineage (2.MED3q) に分類されるもので，現地の保有宿主を感染源とするヒトのペスト感染例であること示唆された。
