[A] パキロビッド Paxlovid and COVID-19 outcomes
ワクチンを接種しており，（感染したが）入院とならなかった，ハイリスクの COVID-19 の患者に，パキロビッド nirmatrelvir-ritonavir (NMV-r, or Paxlovid) を投与したところ，救急外来受診，入院及び 30日以内の死亡の相対リスクが 45% 減少したことが，Clinical Infectious Diseases 誌で報告された。マサチューセッツ Massachusetts 州の Beth Israel Lahey Health の研究者らが主導した研究チームが，from [1 Dec 2021], to [18 Apr 2022] の期間中において，ワクチンを接種したがその 1か月後以降にブレークスルー感染し，入院にはならなかったハイリスク成人患者 2260人のアウトカムを，後ろ向きに検討した。患者の半数が診断から 5日以内にパキロビッド Paxlovid を処方され，半数は標準的ケアを受けていた。パキロビッドを処方されたうち，合計 89人（7.9%）が何らかの理由で救急受診，入院または 30日以内に死亡したが，コントロール群では 163人（14.4%）で，45% 相対的リスクが低下した。パキロビッドを処方された患者で死亡例はなく，コントロール群では 10人が死亡した。また，パキロビッド群では，複数系統の症状や下気道感染や不整脈などの合併症の発症や放射線診断が必要となった割合が，より少なかった ...
