発生の概要
2021年には、カメルーン共和国、中央アフリカ共和国、チャド共和国、コートジボワール共和国、コンゴ民主共和国、ガボン共和国、ガーナ共和国、ナイジェリア連邦共和国、コンゴ共和国のアフリカ 9カ国から、合計 151件の黄熱患者が確認された。このうちの 6カ国は 2022年も引き続き黄熱の感染が確認された症例を報告しているが、コートジボワール共和国とナイジェリア連邦共和国は推定症例 2、ガボン共和国は 2021年以降さらなる症例報告をしていない。
2022年には、さらにケニア、ウガンダの 2カ国から黄熱の確定症例が報告されている。2022年1月1日から 8月26日までに、中央アフリカ共和国（全体の33%、11例）、カメルーン共和国（全体の24%、8例）、コンゴ民主共和国（全体の13%、4例）、ケニア共和国（全体の9%、3例）、チャド共和国（全体の6%、2例）、コンゴ共和国（全体の6%、2例）、ウガンダ共和国（全体の6%、2例）、ガーナ（全体の3%、1例）などアフリカ地域 8か国から合計 33名の黄熱の患者の確認が報告されている。また、カメルーン共和国、中央アフリカ共和国、チャド共和国、コートジボワール共和国、コンゴ民主共和国、ガーナ共和国、ケニア共和国、ニジェール共和国、ナイジェリア連邦共和国、コンゴ共和国の 10カ国からは、2021年1月1日から 2022年8月26日までに計 274件の黄熱の推定症例が報告されている（表1）。全期間を通して、2021年の10月から 12月に報告された症例が大半を占め（図1）、ガーナは全確定症例の約 33％を報告している。確認された 184例のうち、73％が 30歳以下であり、男女比は 1.2となっている ...

米国 the United States は患者数のダブリングタイム the doubling time for the outbreak が 25日間に延長された。7月は平均 8日間だった。the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) は，非定型の症状と，実際は患者の感染がないことを意味する検査の偽陽性を報告している。
