問題となっているケシの実 The non-food-grade poppy seeds が食品流通に混入したのはおよそ 2か月前と考えられているため，9月22日以前に購入した poppy seeds は問題ないと考えられている。(1)

全国で中毒が発生しているとを受け，複数のケシ商品 A number of poppy seed products の回収が行われている。NSW では少なくとも 12人に体調の異常をきたし，救急受診が必要となり，このほかにも全国で患者が報告されている。この The poppy seeds は食用に適しておらず not food grade，"Ongoing investigations により，the poppy seeds 内の非常に高レベルの天然の化学物質 the presence of unusually high levels of a naturally occurring chemical, thebaine が中毒の原因である可能性," と 15日の保健当局 NSW Health in a statement で明らかにされた。
Thebaine は poppy varieties に含まれ，オピオイド製剤 the production of prescription medications opiates に用いられる。食用のケシPoppy seeds grown for food production ではほとんど検出されない no detectable amounts of thebaine
Symptoms of thebaine poisoning include spasms, seizures and difficulty breathing.
回収対象として，Hoyt's Poppy Seeds and Gaganis Premium Australian Poppy Seeds があり，摂取しないこととされている

[Mod.MPP－ I can't help but wonder why the cVDPVs are not considered as polio in discussions on eradication focus.（どうしてワクチン由来株ポリウイルスについて語られていないのだろう） There are now thousands of confirmed cases of paralytic disease globally associated with infection by a cVDPV. While WPV1 continues to circulate in Afghanistan and Pakistan, it also travels outside of those 2 countries and is currently circulating in Mozambique, along with cVDPV1 and cVDPV2. It would be interesting to see a cost benefit analysis of the impact of cVDPV globally compared with WPV1.]

概要
From 29 Dec 2021 to 31 Oct 2022 の期間に，4例の中東呼吸器症候群コロナウイルスの感染例 laboratory-confirmed cases of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) が，サウジアラビア the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia から WHO に報告され，死亡例はなかった。二次感染例は確認されていない。

2022年4月7日の the last Disease Outbreak News on MERS-CoV in Saudi Arabia 以後，サウジアラビア当局 the IHR National Focal Point of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia は新たに 4例の感染を報告した。Between 29 Dec 2021 and 31 Oct 2022 の期間に，同国内で Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) infection に感染した症例が報告されたのは，、Riyadh (2 cases), Gassim (1 case), and Makka Al Mukarramah (1 case) regions (Figure 1) であった。いずれも非医療従事者で，発熱，咳，息切れの症状があり，持病があった。3例について，発症までの 14日間に，ヒトコブラクダ dromedary camels との接触及び生ミルクの摂取があった。3例が男性で，すべての患者の年齢層は 23-74歳だった ...

JCA Davies (cited in the article) retired decades ago. The article although recently online is dated 1979 and the description of events is consistent with the 1979 epizootic.
