州内で新たに2例のマレーバレー脳炎 further cases of Murray Valley encephalitis (MVE) virus infection が確認され，ニューサウスウェールズ州の住民ら Communities in regional New South Wales (NSW) はふたたびイースター期間 this Easter holiday period 中に蚊族の刺咬に注意するよう呼びかけられた。2月と3月の症例に続く今回の2例の確認により，今シーズンの感染は合計4例となった。MVE cases については，ビクトリア州内の州境の地域 border communities in Victoria でも最近報告されており，NSW 州内で感染した可能性のある患者もいる。感染が確認されたのは Federation LGA [local government area] の20代で，2月中旬から3月初旬の間に感染した。Federation Shire での勤務中，もしくは Indigo Shire in Victoria でのキャンプ中に感染した可能性が高い。現在も入院中である。Leeton Shire LGA でも60代男性の感染が確認されており，感染時期は3月で，自宅及び周辺地域で感染した可能性が高い。現在入院中である ...
