島根県でトリカブト食中毒を確認 １９６２年以降初めて 患者は命に別条なし
島根県は１１日、大田市在住の７０代女性が、トリカブトを食べて食中毒にかかったと発表した。女性はかゆみや動悸（どうき）、吐き気の症状があり入院し、現在は回復傾向にあるという。県薬事衛生課によると県内でトリカブトによる食中毒の確認は、記録が残る１９６２年以降初めて。出雲市内の医療機関から１０日、出雲保健所に届け出があった。女性は自宅の庭に生えていた植物を取り、同日正午ごろに湯がいて食べ、３時間後の午後３時ごろに症状が出たという。症状や医師の聞き取り状況も踏まえ、原因食品をトリカブトと判断した。トリカブトはキンポウゲ科の植物で、平地から高山まで広く自生し、茎の長さは１メートル前後。食べると手足のしびれやけいれん、不整脈なども引き起し、呼吸不全で死亡することがある。観賞用に栽培されるほか、葉は山菜として食べられるニリンソウやモミジガサに似ていることから、県が誤食しないよう注意を呼びかけている。

Scientists say tara flour was behind Daily Harvest outbreak that sickened hundreds

Abstract
The French Lentil & Leek Crumbles frozen food product was recently recalled due to reports of gastrointestinal issues. So far, 393 adverse illness complaints and 133 hospitalizations have been reported from consumption of this food, and the tara (_Tara spinosa_) protein flour ingredient is hypothesized to be responsible. A multipronged approach resulted in identification of (S)-(--)-baikiain in tara as a compound of interest due to its abundance, possible metabolic fate, and close resemblance to irreversible inhibitors of L-pipecolate oxidase. Oral administration of baikiain in ND4 mice showed a statistically significant increase in blood ALT levels and a reduction in liver GSH.]

This brings the total number of new cases in the UK since the beginning of the year [2023] to 20. All the cases were diagnosed within London, with half of them in unvaccinated individuals and 2 in those who had only received one dose. Qdenga は弱毒化生2型デングウイルス a live-attenuated dengue serotype 2 virus を基本に開発され、4つの型のウイルス 4 dengue virus serotypes に対する遺伝学的背景 the genetic backbone を呈示し、いずれの型のウイルスに対しても感染防御作用が与えられるよう設計されている。Qdenga は、ブラジル国内で接種前の検査が不要で、過去の感染既往歴に関係なく接種可能な、唯一の認可されたデングワクチンとなる。
ANVISA's approval は2022年12月の欧州 the European Commission in December [2022] および2月の英国 the UK's Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) に続くものとなった。同社は引き続き、他のアジアとラテンアメリカのデング常在国での承認獲得を目指している。米国でも、the vaccine's approval package is being assessed under Priority Review.

Abstract
Background
合併症を伴わないデング熱の典型的症状として、頭痛、筋肉痛、発疹、咳嗽、嘔吐などがある。重症デング出血熱 severe dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) に進展する症例の程度は、血管透過性、血小板数減少、出血の増加に関係するが、発症時に診断することは難しく、patient triage が困難であるため、保健医療システムの負荷 a socio-economic burden となっている。
Conclusions
effector memory T cell activation（エフェクターメモリー T 細胞活性化）が、2回目の感染時 during a secondary dengue infection の重症化阻止 ameliorating severe disease に重要な役割を果たし、この反応が欠如すると、ウイルス複製を抑えるために強力な内因炎症反応 a strong innate inflammatory response が必要となることが示唆された。
Our research also identified discrete cell populations predicting increased odds of severe disease, with potential diagnostic value.
