定期予防接種 the National Immunisation Program により，meningococcal ACWY (Men ACWY) vaccine が生後12か月の乳児，青年および持病のあるすべての年齢の患者に無料で提供されている。NSW 州では10年生 Year 10に学校で接種 the adolescent dose されている。A meningococcal B vaccine も生後6週以降の感染リスク低下につながる。Aboriginal infants and people with certain medical conditions は無料で接種が可能である。

Objective
To evaluate longer term symptoms and health outcomes associated with post-COVID-19 condition within a cohort of individuals with a SARS-CoV-2 infection.
Design
Population based, longitudinal cohort.
Setting
General population of the canton of Zurich, Switzerland.
Participants
1106 adults with a confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection who were not vaccinated before infection and 628 adults who did not have an infection.
Main outcome measures
Results
Conclusions
感染前にワクチンを接種していなかった人の最大18%が，感染後最長2年間，post-COVID-19 condition がみられ，コントロール群と比較してリスクが高かった。
