バージニア Virginia 州保健当局が髄膜炎菌性疾患 a statewide outbreak of meningococcal disease について報告を行った。2022年6月以降、州東部・中部・南西部で合計27例 cases of meningococcal disease, caused by the bacteria called _Neisseria meningitidis_ type Y（Y群髄膜炎菌）から報告されており、1例以上のの症例 outbreak-associated case of meningococcal disease が報告されている地域は以下のとおり: Alleghany, Hampton, Henrico, Norfolk, Peninsula, Pittsylvania/Danville, Portsmouth, Roanoke, Southside, Virginia Beach, and Western Tidewater.

Abstract
2021年4月、シドニーの保健当局 the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District Public Health Unit (Sydney, New South Wales, Australia) に、同じサロンでのピアスの穴開け skin piercings 後の、3例の緑膿菌感染 patients with _Pseudomonas aeruginosa_ infections が報告された。検査機関や医療機関での積極的症例調査 Active case-finding through laboratories, clinician alerts, and monitoring hospital visits for piercing-related infections により、州全域で新たな症例 additional cases across New South Wales が確認され、消費者らに対する注意喚起が行われた。13例の confirmed および 40例の probable case-patients linked clinical isolates by genomic sequencing が確認されている。確定例の患者10人が、同じ事後処置液 the same brand and batch of aftercare solution を使っており、開封および未開封のボトルから genomic sequencing によってアウトブレイク菌に一致する緑膿菌が検出された。この処置液の回収後、ピアス関連感染の症例数は通常レベルに戻っている ...

津の飲食店で10人食中毒 三重県が営業禁止処分
三重県は１日、津市羽所町の飲食店「食道園」で食事をした13歳から73歳までの男女10人が下痢などの症状を訴えたと発表した。県は同店での食事が原因の食中毒と断定。同日付で営業禁止処分にした。
県によると、10人は先月12日に同店を利用し、同14日から17日にかけて腹痛や発熱などを発症。うち３人が入院したが、全員が既に回復した。当日は塩タンや上ロース、キムチなどが提供された
津市内の医療機関が先月下旬、津保健所に連絡したのをきっかけに発覚。患者や従業員への便検査で腸管出血性大腸菌「Ｏ１５７」が検出された。保健所は衛生管理の改善が確認できれば営業を認める。
