Podkarpackie における新たな3例のレジオネラ菌感染症 new _Legionella_ infections について、3日衛生疫学担当者 head of the District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Rzeszow が発表し、レジオネラ肺炎 Legionnaires' disease と診断された患者は163例となった。この24時間に新たな死亡は確認されていない。新たな感染例は9月1日から入院している。
患者の大部分が Rzeszow [Podkarpackie voivodship], 109, であり、ほか the Rzeszow poviat, 38. There are 4 patients in Debicki, 3 in the Ropczycko-Sedziszow poviat, and 2 in the Lancut poviat [county]. One infection was reported in patients from the following counties: Jasielski, Przeworski, Przemysl, Kolbuszow, Nizanski, Stalowowolski, and Opole County (Lubelskie Voivodeship) である。
死者数はこれまでのところ19例で変更はなく、いずれも持病があった。

流しそうめん店で９３人食中毒／約５００人も調査中、石川
石川県津幡町の飲食店「大滝観光流しそうめん」で8月に発生した食中毒の患者が93人に上ることが1日、分かった。県によると、入院者はおらず、全員既に回復している。他に同店で食事をした約500人から食中毒の相談が寄せられており、関連を調べている。流しそうめんなどに利用する湧き水からカンピロバクターが検出され、県は食中毒の原因とみている。県によると、93人は1歳から70代の男女で、石川県内の他、富山や長野、福井から訪れていた。湧き水は、流しそうめん以外にも調理に利用していた。同店によると、7月中旬の豪雨の影響で、年に1度実施すべき水質検査を今季の営業開始前に行っていなかった。
