Abstract
A型肝炎は糞口感染による感染症で、安全で有効なワクチン接種により予防可能である。通常は軽症で自然治癒するが、死亡を含む重篤な合併症も起こりえる。
2016年以降、全米37州で大規模なアウトブレイクが発生し、患者は主に薬物使用者やホームレス経験者である。during 2016-2022 compared with 2009-2015 に A型肝炎関連死が2倍近くに増えた。CDC が data from 27 hepatitis A outbreak-affected states* during 1 Aug 2016-31 Oct 2022 を解析し、315例の関連死亡例 outbreak-related hepatitis A deaths の人種構成 demographic, risk factor, clinical, and cause-of-death data を明らかにした。関連死亡のピークは2019年で、その後2022年まで年々減少している。年齢の中央値は55歳で男性が多く（73%）、non-Hispanic White persons (84%) であった。63%に薬物使用、ホームレス、B型肝炎、C型肝炎といったワクチン接種対象となるリスク因子が認められたが、接種歴があったのはわずか12%だった。

Can train transport of waste from Rome, Italy to Amsterdam be the ride for arbovirus bluetongue type 3? Several Dutch sites claim there is a relation between the outbreak in NL and the waste transport from Italy. No evidence has been provided to date.
