Highlights
- In week 1, the number of new confirmed cases increased from 43 in epi week 52, 2023 to 53 in epi week 1, 2024 cases. These were reported in Ondo, Edo, Bauchi, Benue, Taraba, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, and Plateau States (Table 3)....
- In total for 2024, 9 states have recorded at least one confirmed case across 27 local government areas (Figures 2 and 3).
- 71% of all confirmed Lassa fever cases were reported from these 3 states (Ondo, Edo, and Bauchi) while 29% were reported from 6 states with confirmed Lassa fever cases. Of the 71% confirmed cases, Ondo reported 25%, Edo 25%, and Bauchi 21%.
- The predominant age group affected is 21-30 years (range: 4 to 75 years, median age: 32 years). The male-to-female ratio for confirmed cases is 1:0.9 (Figure 4).

Abstract
チクングニアとジカウイルスは、新興疾患として忘れ去られつつある have been neglected。
本研究は、これらの疾患の空間的・時間的な発生パターン、同時発生、それに関連する環境および社会経済的因子を解析することを目的としている。
608 388 and 162 992 cases of chikungunya and Zika, respectively について、Univariate (individually) and multivariate (co-occurrence) scans の解析を行った。
2つの疾患は夏と秋により多く発生した。最も高いリスクをもってクラスターが発生するのは、当初の the northeast から、the central-west and coastal areas of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro (2018-2021) に拡散し、その後 the northeast (2019-2021) で増加した。
Chikungunya and Zika は減少傾向 trends of 13% and 40%, respectively にあるが、クラスターは増加する傾向 an increasing trend of 85% and 57%, respectively が見られた。Clusters with a high co-occurrence risk have been identified in some regions of Brazil.
両疾患のリスクがより高い地域は、高温と関連していた。

ウェルシュ菌によるとみられるアウトブレイク An outbreak of likely _Clostridium perfringens_ について、2023年8月以降、コロラド州および郡公衆衛生当局 the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the Jefferson County Public Health による調査が続けられている。学校の看護師 a school nurse at Evergreen County Day School が 40 or so illnesses following a school event on 21 Aug 2023 を報告した。
合計122 primary cases が確認され、うち 37 were male (30.3%) and 35 were female (28.7%)、年齢は between 1 and 74 years of age, for whom the age was recorded (majority between 18 and 49 years) であった。発症日は between 21-23 Aug 2023 である。
多く見られた症状として、下痢、腹痛があり、一部は嘔気、倦怠感、発熱、嘔吐を訴えた。暴露から1日以内に発症し、入院および死亡例はなかった。
1例の患者の便検体の検査が行われた。
