4月に Vinh Phuc にある Shinwon Ebenezer Vietnam Co., Ltd. 会社において400人以上の食中毒患者が発生し病院に搬送された原因は、食品サンプル中で検出されたセレウス菌 The bacteria _Bacillus cereus_ であったと、21日に保健当局責任者 Director of the Vinh Phuc Department of Health が会議 the National Conference on Strengthening Food Safety and Preventing Food Poisoning で明らかにした。この集団食中毒が発生したのは4月15日の昼食後の午後3時半ごろだった。嘔吐、腹痛、頭痛を訴えた438人が市内の病院を受診した。昼食は、stir-fried turkey（シチメンチョウ）with lemongrass and chili, stir-fried cauliflower（カリフラワー）, pickled vegetables and bean sprout soup であったと報告されている。

In the dispatch sent to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), the MOH deputy minister noted that the cause of poisoning in several recent cases is determined to be ingredients such as chicken, pork, seafood, vegetables and fruits from domestic and imported sources. These items are under the scope of management of the MARD, according to Article 38 of Decree No 15/2018/ND-CP, issued on 2 Feb 2018 by the government.

In 2023, the country recorded 180 983 cases of hand, foot and mouth disease, with 31 fatalities.

Introduction
麻疹はきわめて感染力が強い，ワクチンで予防可能な，発熱性発疹性疾患で，肺炎，脳炎および死亡などの重症合併症を発症するおそれがある。濃厚接触者の二次感染率は90%以上でもっとも感染力の強い疾患の１つである; 麻疹の早期発見と介入が感染拡大の抑止に重要となる。
2024年3月4日，シカゴ公衆衛生当局 the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) に，ベネズエラから新たに入国した移民のための一時滞在施設の滞在者の，麻疹が疑われる感染例 a suspected measles case に関する通報があった。宿泊エリアを共有する密集状況にあり，500人以上が複数の部屋に分かれ居住している。この患者は2月26日に発疹が現れ，同27日に麻疹感染の疑いで入院となった。施設内で感染力を有していた期間は during 22-27 Feb 2024 であった。13 May 2024 の時点で合計57例 confirmed measles cases が確認されており，このうち52例が among shelter residents, 3 among staff members, and 2 among community members with a known link to the shelter だった。

the index case 発生後にワクチンの一斉接種と積極的患者検索を行わなかった場合，このモデルでは，100例以上のアウトブレイクが発生した確率が a 69% chance of an outbreak of 100 or more cases で，発疹の発症時期の中央値は5月26日と予測されている。これは中央値 235例のアウトブレイクサイズにあたる。
一方，（3月8日からワクチン一斉接種と積極的患者検索を行った）modeling CDPH's interventions により，100例以上のアウトブレイクの可能性が a 1% chance となり，発症日の中央値 an estimated median last rash onset は9 Apr 2024 と，介入なしのシナリオと比べ1/69に減少した。
ワクチン接種が1週間遅れると，患者検索を行っても100例以上のアウトブレイクの確率が8%に増加し，積極的患者検索が行われなければ15%となった。

The NPPO [National Plant Protection Organisation] of Ireland recently informed EPPO of the occurrence of _Tomato brown rugose fruit virus_ (_Tobamovirus_, ToBRFV - EPPO A2 List) on its territory. ToBRFV was first detected in March 2024. A sample had been sent by an Irish grower to a Dutch laboratory which reported back to the NPPO of Ireland.
The outbreak was detected in a glasshouse of 10 000 m2 where tomato (_Solanum lycopersicum_) are grown for fruit production. Phytosanitary measures according to EU regulations are being applied.
