Mizoram において，from 1 Jan to 4 Nov 2024 の間に少なくとも528 people がデング熱 dengue に感染し，1人の死亡が報告されていると，州保健当局 the state health & family welfare department が明らかにした。
7488 suspected cases were tested during this period, with 528 confirmed positive.
Aizawl district から最多の 335例, 次いでLunglei district in south Mizoram with 165 cases が報告されている。
州内ではじめてのデング熱が報告されたのは2012年の6例で，それ以降2024年10月までに Mizoram で確認されたデング熱は合計5596例である。
年々増加傾向にあったが，新型コロナウイルス感染で減少した後，2022年に1868例，2023年には最多の2060例が報告された。

新たな患者が発生し，国内のサルモネラ感染症アウトブレイク a [salmonellosis] outbreak in Sweden がふたたび発生している。From August to October [2024] の間に81人 people from 18 regions がサルモネラ菌 _Salmonella [enterica_ serotype] Typhimurium with sequence type (ST) 36 に感染した。すべて国内で感染した症例である。
10種類の異なっているが遺伝学的に関連のある菌のいずれかの感染であると，公衆衛生東京 Folkhälsomyndigheten (the Public Health Agency of Sweden) から報告されている。
2024年9月に特殊な型のサルモネラ菌 a specific variant of _S._ Typhimurium ST 36 の調査が開始された。8月と9月に 35 people from 11 different regions が発症した。
聞き取り調査や買い物のレシートなどから可能性のある感染源の情報を得ようとしているが，原因となった食品は特定されていない。当局は，消費期限がありすでに店頭にはない食品の可能性が高いと考えている。調査は打ち切られていたが，新たな感染例が確認されたことから，範囲を広げて再開された。
_S._ Typhimurium ST 36 は国内ではまれで，分離菌がこの型の様々な変異株 isolates belonging to different variants of this type が分離に属していることから，今回のアウトブレイクには共通の感染源があると当局は見ている。
患者は1歳未満から89歳までの，中央値44歳の年齢で，もっとも患者が多い年齢層は the age groups less than 1 to 10 and 40 to 50 であり，男性よりも女性の感染例が多い。
