Summary of the situation
Between epidemiological week (EW) 1 and EW 44 of 2024, 50 confirmed cases of yellow fever in humans have been reported in the Americas Region, including 24 deaths. This represents 12 additional cases (1 in the Plurinational State of Bolivia ボリビア, 9 in Colombia コロンビア, 1 in Guyana ガイアナ, and 1 in Peru ペルー) and 5 additional deaths (1 in Bolivia and 4 in Colombia) since the previous Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) yellow fever epidemiological update published on 19 September 2024 (1).
The 50 cases were reported from 5 countries in the Region: Bolivia (8 cases, including 4 deaths), Brazil (3 cases, including 2 deaths), Colombia (17 cases, including 9 deaths), Guyana (3 cases), and Peru (19 cases, including 9 deaths) (2-9).
Cases were reported mainly throughout the Amazon region in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Guyana, and Peru (Figures 1 and 2 [see source URL for all figures]).

During the 45th week of this year, from 4-10 Nov 2024 の期間に市内で167例の麻疹 measles cases among residents in the city が報告され、過去4週間の平均に比べ29% higher であり、合計患者数が1635 cases, including 3 deaths となったと、13日当局が発表した。
From early this year to 10 Nov 2024, the city also treated 2565 measles cases transferred from other localities, with one of them dying. During this period, Ho Chi Minh City treated 4200 patients, with a total of 4 deaths.

スーダン保健省 the Sudanese Ministry of Health からの最新データによると、国内各地でデング熱 dengue fever cases in most of the Sudanese states の急増があり、累計 the tally of dengue cases reaching more than 6000 cases with increasing numbers of fatalities に達した。
医師らの感染も増えている A notable surge of dengue infections was also seen in the health cadres, where more than 150 were infected with 3 deaths registered among Sudanese doctors, as well as in Kassala state of Eastern Sudan. 3398 cases in several Sudanese states during the period of mid-April to mid-September 2024 の医師の感染が明らかにされている。

Souk Ahras: 853 cows infected with lumpy skin disease
The Veterinary Inspectorate in the state of Souk Ahras has recorded, since the emergence of lumpy skin disease, the infection of a significant number of cattle, estimated at 853 head. This infectious disease has led to the death of 357 cows in the municipalities of Souk Ahras, especially in the municipalities of Mashrouha and Ouled Idris, which have a significant number of cows, as the state of Souk Ahras has about 41 000 head of cows.
