Flu cases in Thailand increase 10 times in 15 days
タイ保健省 Thailand's Ministry of Health は17日、国内のインフルエンザ感染例 that the number of people infected with flu in the country が15日間にmore than 7000 cases から 9万9000 cases に急激に増加したと警鐘を鳴らしている。保健相 Thai Health Minister が2月の患者増について述べた。
1月25日現在7819例 cases of influenza が報告されていたところ、15 Feb 2025 に9万9057, with 9 deaths が報告されている。感染の多くが5－9歳の小児で、学校等で確認されている。

The vaccination campaign begins in May [2025], in line with the peak influenza season. The National Health Insurance (NHSO) plans to distribute 4.5 million doses of vaccine to health facilities.

Report: Illnesses from contaminated food increased in 2024, severe cases doubled
汚染食品 contaminated food により体調を崩した米国民の数が25% in 2024 増加したことが、the US Public Interest Research Group (PIRG) Education Fund から The Food for Thought 2025 report で報告された。
合計1392人の Americans in 2024 が a contaminated food item 摂取後に体調を悪化させたが、1118 in 2023 であったと報告されている。さらに、入院患者数が from 230 to 487人に倍増し、deaths climbed from 8 to 19 と増加していた。
13 outbreaks により回収された食品による確定診断された患者のほぼすべて（98％）が、リステリア菌 _Listeria_, サルモネラ菌 _Salmonella_, or 大腸菌 _Escherichia coli_ のいずれかによるものであった。
The CDC estimates that 1 in every 6 Americans becomes ill every year from contaminated food or beverages.
