The campaign, implemented across 347 priority districts in 33 states and union territories, including 8 districts in Himachal Pradesh, aims to accelerate efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals related to TB elimination.

Out of the 42 municipalities in this province plus the component city of Passi, only 5 municipalities -- Balasan, Bingawan, New Lucena, San Rafael, and Zarraga -- have remained dengue-free so far this year [2025]. A total of 38 municipalities, including Passi City, have recorded dengue cases from 1 to 18 Jan 2025, according to the Iloilo Provincial Health Office (IPHO).
The IPHO said cases have so far reached 172 -- a 30% increase compared to the same period last year [2024], which saw only 132 cases. The areas with the highest number of cases are Leon (13), San Joaquin (11), Dumangas (10), Passi City (9), Estancia (9), Oton (9), Barotac Viejo (9), Cabatuan (7), Santa Barbara (7), and Janiuay (6).
