この数世紀 Over the past few centuries、黄熱アウトブレイク yellow fever outbreaks により多くの感染例と死亡例が発生し、the World Health Organization によると最重症例 most severe yellow fever (YF) cases の致死率は around 39% とされているが、残念ながら最近の南米のデータでは、より多くの死亡が発生していることが示されている。
2024年以降、コロンビア the Republic of Colombia でアウトブレイク an active YF outbreak が発生しており、2025年2月21日の時点で 40 cases (17 in 2025), with 19 related deaths が報告され、致死率 a case fatality rate (CFR) of 47% となっている。
2025年3月中旬の時点で，アウトブレイクが継続している地域 Columbia's YF outbreak remains active は the departments of Tolima, Caquetá, Huila, Nariño, Putumayo, and Vaupés である。

Dhi Qar records 250 cases of foot-and-mouth disease
