エボラウイルス Ebola virus [disease] virus 感染の症状があり、Koboko Health Centre IV に入院した A boda boda cyclist が死亡した。この男性は 12日に病院に搬送され 13日に死亡した。 [Boda-boda (or bodaboda) is a bicycle taxi, originally in East Africa (from English border-border). The bicycle rider can also be called boda-boda. In Uganda it is often abbreviated as simply Boda. - Mod.CP] ... "患者は出血熱 hemorrhagic fever の症状で来院したが、残念ながら死亡した.患者の血液検体は、死因 (Ebola virus disease of or Marburg virus disease) の確定のため、Entebbe に送られている" 、と治療した医師が述べた ... (死亡した) この男性は Kuluba Sub-county の出身で、体調を崩し being unwell てから 3日目に病院を受診した。入院後直ちに隔離され、Arua hospital に支援を要請した。男性には渡航歴はなかった no recent history of travel to neighbouring DRC [Democratic Republic of Congo], South Sudan, or Kampala [the capital of Uganda]

from the Viral Diagnosis Laboratory, Kimron Veterinary Institute, Israel's Veterinary Services & Animal Health, Beit-Dagan, received today (15 Nov 2012):
Samples derived from clinically affected sheep from several locations, obtained in September-October 2012, have been found PCR positive for bluetongue and have been serotyped BTV-2 and BTV-4.
The diagnostic methods applied were:
- realtime RT-PCR bluetongue group;
- virus isolation in embryonated chicken eggs;
- serotyping of isolates by serotype-specific conventional RT-PCR.

Samples derived from clinically affected sheep from several locations, obtained in September-October 2012, have been found PCR positive for bluetongue and have been serotyped BTV-2 and BTV-4.
The diagnostic methods applied were:
