[Mod.CP－ Guizhou は中国南西部にあり、 Guiyang は省都 provincial capital city である。これまでに中国国内で 43 human cases of avian influenza A/(H5N1) virus infection が記録されており、うち 28人が死亡している。今回新たに報告された 2例 The 2 new fatal [?] cases は、2013年の初めての報告となった。独立して発生し、互いに関連性がなく、病気の家禽との接触が確認されていない点が重要である。これらの患者は、the avian A/H5N1 influenza virus に高い感染感受性を有していたと考えられる。
最近、中国で H1N1 swine flu [influenza A/(H1N1)pdm09 infection] によって入院となった患者の 69%で、インターフェロン誘導経路 the interferon induction pathway (rs12252-C) の特異遺伝子の変異 a specific gene mutation が確認され、他の集団 [国民] other populations ではまれであることが示された。このことから、漢民族 the Han Chinese population は豚インフルエンザウイルス swine influenza virus (A/H1N1pdm09) infection に対し、[他民族よりも] 脆弱である、と考えてよいかもしれない。この変異は、感受性ではなく重症化に影響すると考えられるが、同じ変異が感染に対する感受性にも影響する可能性がある。詳しいコメントについては、20130131.1523890 と 20120328.1083177]
