13日午後、保健当局 the provincial health and Family Planning Commission Bulletin、 Foshan City が新たに Nanhai District から報告のあった、疫学的関連性のない 2 new cases of human infection with H7N9 avian influenza を確認した。1例目は家禽販売に関係する Foshan Nanhai Lishui 在住の 28歳の男性で、8日に発症し、9日に the Nanhai District Sixth People's Hospital を受診した。12日から Tamiflu treatment 治療が開始されており、 an H7N9 infection case と判断され入院となった。現在状態は落ち着いている。2例目は 46歳の欧州人男性で、家禽飼育が行われている地域であるShishan Town, Nanhai District で運転手として働いていた。6日に発症し、an H7N9 infection が判明し 9日に入院となり、Tamiflu treatment が行われたが、現在危険な状態にある。2日間、市場 the region's live bird markets for 2 days, on 13-14 Jan [2014] が閉鎖されている。
