663 deaths [reported case fatality rate 41.2 percent], 935 recoveries, and 13 currently active cases
Since the last ProMED-mail update [Sun 14 May 2017], there have been a total of:
7 newly confirmed cases, [1 is reported to be asymptomatic]
1 newly reported fatality, and
3 newly reported recoveries.

1 - A 63-year-old Saudi male, from Riyadh [Riyadh region] currently in stable condition. Classified as a primary case.
2- A 43-year-old Saudi male, from Almuhannab [Al Qaṣīm region] currently in stable condition. Classified as a primary case with a history of direct contact with camels.

3- A 57-year-old expat male, healthcare worker from Bisha [Asir region] currently reported as being in stable condition although categorized as asymptomatic. Classified as a secondary healthcare acquired case in a healthcare worker.
4 - A 38-year-old expat male, from Riyadh [Riyadh region] currently in critical condition. Classified as a secondary healthcare acquired case in a patient.

[ Mod.MPP 注－the last update (on 14 May 2017)からの 5日間に，サウジアラビアで新たに 7例 newly confirmed cases of MERS-CoV infection が確認された。このうち 4例が，無症候性の医療従事者である。3と4の患者はリャド Riyadh，もう 1人は Bisha in 'Asīr region で感染した。新たに確認された有症の 3人の患者のうち，1人がリャドの二次院内感染例とされている。both Riyadh and Bisha の 2カ所で院内感染が起きているようである。Riyadh では 4 cases (3 asymptomatic infections in healthcare workers and one symptomatic case in a patient)，Bisha では one asymptomatic infection in a healthcare worker and one symptomatic infection in a patient が確認されている。5月初め以降(19日までに)，14 newly confirmed MERS-CoV infections in Saudi Arabia が確認されており，4月は19日までに新たに確認された患者数は 8人だった。すなわち，MERS は今も感染が続いており，サウジアラビアで確認され，院内感染も発生している。しかも，多くの患者の感染経路がはっきりしていない]
