保健省 The Ukraine Ministry of Health は，2021年に 88件のボツリヌス症 outbreaks of botulism の発生と，小児 3人を含む 98人の罹患を確認している。合計 10人が死亡し，79人に抗ボツリヌス血清が用いられた。2020年は 65例と死亡 4零だった。Zakarpattia, Luhansk and Mykolaiv regions 以外の全国で発生があり，最も多かったのは Volyn oblast - 9, 8 cases were recorded in Zhytomyr, Lviv and Chernihiv oblasts and 7 cases were reported in Cherkasy oblast
