Study findings

COVID-19 による入院患者合計2万7149 individuals, 59.2%（デルタ株）and 40.8%（オミクロン株）のうち，75%がワクチンを接種していなかった。ワクチン接種者に比べ，非接種者の入院患者は年齢が若かった much younger。2回接種群に比べ，追加接種まで完了した患者の重症度はより低かった A higher attenuation in disease severity 。the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine による重症化に対する有効性は，the delta variant による感染に比べ the omicron variant では低下していた ...

Conclusions

COVID-19-vaccinated individuals were strongly associated with lower rates of ICU admission and in-hospital mortality during the dominance of the delta and omicron variants. However, such an association was not found in unvaccinated individuals.
