2023年のカラチ Karachi における the _Naegleria fowleri_ situation 感染発生状況の続報として、州保健当局 the Sindh health department が a 3rd death due to the brain-eating amoeba を今週報告した。以前に報告されていたのは a resident of the Qayyumabad area 住民の32歳女性の5月24日に原発性アメーバ性髄膜脳炎 primary amoebic meningoencephalitis による死亡と、それに続く5月26日の a 45 year old man in Surjani Town の死亡で、今回の症例は5月28日に the Saddar area で死亡した19歳の少年である。
