イングランドのサルモネラ感染症アウトブレイク A _Salmonella_ outbreak in England では今年になってこれまでに60人以上が感染しており、ポーランドからの卵との関連が認められている。患者からの検体で分離された菌は、国内および国外各地でクラスターを発生させたものと類似 similar していた。

the English outbreak の65 cases; 25 confirmed and 18 probable infections は1か所のレストラン（店名非公表）に関連しており, 10 confirmed with unknown links to the establishment, and 12 with no link to the restaurant ... 3月下旬に店内または持ち帰って摂取していた。全遺伝子解析の結果、_Salmonella [enterica_ serotype] Enteritidis infection と確認されている。研究者らにより2022年6月に遡って症例が新たに確認されている。発症日は2023年3月17日から4月17日の期間であるが、ほとんどが3月30日に発症している。症状として嘔吐、下痢、発熱、腹痛などが、レストランの食事から12ないし24時間後に発生し、10人が入院となった。レストランに関連する43例の年齢は6歳から61歳までの中央値32歳で、スタッフの感染例は報告されていない。

まれなダニ媒介性疾患である Heartland virus disease について、a Crawford County resident の住民1名の感染がカンザス州保健当局 The Kansas Department of Health and Environment and Crawford County Health Department により確認された。the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention の協力により5月後半に確定診断された。Crawford County では初めてで、2009年に northwest Missouri で初めて確認されて以降、カンザス州内においても3例しかない。The previous 2 cases were identified in Miami County in 2015 and Anderson County in 2018. To date, there have been over 50 cases of Heartland diagnosed across areas of the Midwest and Southern United States.

Heartland virus は州内もっとも多く見られるダニの an infected lone star tick [_Amblyomma americanum_] の刺咬により伝播され（ダニの）活動時期 most active は5月から8月である。Heartland（感染の）症状にははっきりとしたものはなく、発熱、筋肉痛、関節痛、頭痛などが含まれ、発疹が見られることも多い。医療従事者は、合致する症状が見られ検査で他のダニ媒介性疾患が否定された場合は Heartland を考慮する必要がある。

Additional information about Heartland virus (CDC)

[Mod.TY－ The CDC indicates that as of November 2022, Heartland virus disease cases have been identified in residents from Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia.

A 2015 report indicates that HRTV infects wildlife over an even wider geographic area. Of 1428 animals, 103 were seropositive: 55 deer, 33 raccoons, 11 coyotes, and 4 moose. There were 13 states that had seropositive animals: Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Vermont (see reference below). The geographic range of infected wildlife will likely have widened over the 8 years since that study was published.

公衆衛生当局 the Public Health Emergency Operations Coordination Center (CCOUSP) によると、5月13日に the Logbaba health district において2例の、動物からのウイルス感染症 cases of the emerging infectious disease caused by a virus transmitted by infected animals が確認された。流行開始以降、in the Littoral region では初めてのエムポックス the 1st confirmed cases of mpox の確認となった。7月2日の疫学状況報告の中で、the mpox region の発生地域は現在2 regions, namely the Littoral and the Southwest であるとされている。依然として the English-speaking region が the main focus of total cases of the disease since January 2023 であることに変わりはない。

On 20 May 2023, 9 new cases of mpox were confirmed in the South West, including 7 in the Mbonge Health District and 2 cases in Kumba Health District.

To date [3 Jul 2023], 35 suspected cases, including 13 confirmed, have been reported in 3 health districts in the Littoral and Southwest regions.

However, no deaths have been reported. The median age of those affected is 33 years (4 to 52 years).
