関係各局 The FDA and CDC assisted Gallatin City County Health Department and the Montana DPHHS がモンタナ州のレストラン a single restaurant in Montana について、レストランの客と従業員の2つを焦点に調査している。客の調査から、レストランで摂取された栽培キノコ the cultivated morel が胃腸病（下痢、嘔気、嘔吐、腹痛）アウトブレイクの原因とみられている。少数の従業員の調査ではあるが、多量のキノコの接種と発症に関連項目　が認められた。キノコについては、殺虫剤、重金属、トキシン、病原体などが調べられたが有意な所見は得られなかった。

2023年3月から4月に生または軽く調理して客に提供されていた。

同じ輸入業者から仕入れた他のレストランでは問題は確認されていない。

7月19日現在51例のレストランでの食事客の患者が確認されている。3人が入院し、2人が死亡した。

パック入りトルティーヤ packaged potato tortillas [Spanish omelette] が関係するボツリヌス症 An outbreak of botulism でこれまでに7 cases, of which 4 (2 citizens of Italy who consumed this product in Valladolid, 1 in Asturias, and a 4th in Galicia) が確認されており、3, in Madrid, Andalusia, and the Valencian Community もこれに一致する症状が認められている。

from Galicia and Asturias で確認された49歳と50歳の症例は、6月19日から7月5日までの間にこの食品を摂取しており、7月10日発症した Madrid の49歳の the probable case は集中治療室で治療を受けている ... All of them, the confirmed and the probable ones には調理済みスパニッシュオムレツ pre-cooked Spanish omelette, packaged を摂取しており、それぞれ別の店の別の商品 in different community supermarkets from "different brands"を購入していた。

英保健当局 The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) が、特にロンドン London において麻疹アウトブレイクのリスクが高まっていると警告した。首都において4万から16万例が発生し、20-40%が入院すると推定されている。

1990年代後半以降のワクチン接種率の低下があり、　the COVID pandemic によりさらに状況が悪化した。

マラウイで少なくとも17例のポリオ疑い症例 suspected polio cases が確認されている。キャンペーンにより、国内の小児の90％以上がポリオに対するワクチン接種を完了したばかりである。3月にアフリカ南部の同国に上陸し多数の犠牲者が発生した、世界で最も長期間続いたサイクロン Cyclone Freddy が関係するのではないかと危惧されている。南部地域 the Zomba district health office in southern Malawi の広報担当者は17日、2週間以内に結果が判明すると明らかにした。Zomba はもっとも深刻な被害のあった地域の１つで、トイレやその他の衛生施設が破壊されたと述べている。

マラウイは30年ぶりとなる野生株ポリオウイルス感染 1st case of the wild polio が確認されたことを受け、2020年から小児のワクチン接種を開始している。2020年にアフリカ域内の野生株ポリオ排除が証明されてからはじめての症例であった。

野生株ポリオウイルスには3つの型があり、2型と3型 (WPV2 and WPV3) は根絶されたが、1型 WPV1 は今もパキスタンとアフガニスタンにおいてのみ endemic only in Pakistan and Afghanistan となっている。また、経口ワクチンに含まれ弱毒化したウイルスの変異である、まれなワクチン由来ウイルス a very rare vaccine-derived poliovirus の発生もある ...
