青森県八戸市の弁当製造会社「吉田屋」の弁当を食べ、体調不良などを訴えている人が全国で相次いでいる問題で、八戸市保健所は22日午前9時現在で33都道府県に流通状況の調査を実施し計2万2184個の弁当が製造・納品していたと公表しました。また、体調不良者は21日の発表から3人増えて301人になりました。一方で吉田屋は問題のあった弁当は12種類としていますが市は流通した59種類のうち異常のあった種類を絞り切れていなため全種類を調査するとしています。
流通状況について調査を実施した都道府県は以下となります。

Zika virus disease acquired in Comoros
2023年8月25日に、コモロでの4週間の滞在から帰国した49歳女性が、到着日にアルボウイルス疾患に一致する症状（発熱、倦怠感、前頭側頭部通、結膜炎、筋肉痛、手関節優位の関節痛）を発症した。皮膚の発疹は認めなかった。光線過敏を伴う持続性の頭痛 persistent headaches with photophobia のため、9月12日に the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Bordeaux 病院の救急室を受診した。脳脊髄液を採取したが特異所見は得られなかった。9月13日の採血検体の RT-PCR for ZIKV（ジカウイルス）検査が positive (negative for DENV and CHIKV、デングとチクングニアは陰性)。同日行われた血清学的検査では過去のデング熱感染を示唆する結果 isolated anti-DENV IgG (all negative for CHIKV and ZIKV) を得た。
知りうる限り、this is the 1st documented case of ZIKV infection acquired in Comoros.

北部でジフテリア diphtheria により3人が死亡し、dozens of suspected diphtheria cases が報告されていると、19日保健省が明らかにした。The ministry's Department of Medical Services Administration が医療従事者らに注意を呼びかけている。
2人の死亡が報告された Ha Giang province では、地域内の各病院で46 suspected cases of diphtheria が治療を受けている。ほかに回復した患者37人が14日間の自宅での健康監視を受けている。
約1万1000 local people in Meo Vac and Yen Minh districts of Ha Giang province に予防内服の抗生物質 prophylactic antibiotics が投与された。2023年5月以降、Dien Bien province でも6 cases including one death が報告されている。感染源は不明とされている。
