ケンタッキー州 Campbellsville, Kentucky のサルモネラ感染症アウトブレイク A _Salmonella_ outbreak で少なくとも13人が発病していると、保健当局 the Lake Cumberland District Health Department が明らかにした。23日現在報告されている13 cases of illness のうち、6例がサルモネラ感染症 _Salmonella_ infections と確認され、残る7例も probable _Salmonella_ とされている。9月8日から10日までに感染したとみられており、この数日間は新たな感染は報告されていない。

少なくとも565 suspected, presumed and confirmed cases が報告されていることを受け、ジャマイカの保健当局 Jamaica's Ministry of Health and Wellness が23日、デング熱アウトブレイク an outbreak of the dengue fever を宣言した。サーベイランス部門 National Surveillance Unit が、7月および8月に閾値レベルを超えた surpassed the dengue epidemic threshold と提言し、9月も同様の傾向が続いているとされている。

"The dominant strain is Dengue Type 2（2型）, which last predominated in 2010," it said.

今のところ関連死の症例は報告されていないものの、6例の死亡例について検討されている。少なくとも78例の確定診断例 confirmed cases in Jamaica が報告されている。

洪水による被害が発生した the areas of Thessaly において、24時間に1261例の入院 admissions to the area's hospitals が確認されており、特に41例が胃腸炎 cases of gastroenteritis と 91例が呼吸感染 cases of respiratory infections の患者であった。21日には、新たに4 new hospitalizations due to gastroenteritis and 8 due to respiratory infections が報告されたほか、2 enteropathogens were detected by molecular testing in one person.

さらに、3 new cases of leptospirosis（レプトスピラ症）in the Region of Thessaly, 2 of them in Karditsa and one in Larissa が確認されたと、保健当局者 the General Secretary of Public Health が明らかにした。

熊本県は、県内の70代の男性が日本脳炎に感染していることが確認されたと発表しました。国内でことし、患者が確認されたのは初めてです。熊本県によりますと、玉名郡に住む70代の男性が、9月4日に発熱などを訴えて入院し、その後、意識がない状態が続いているということです。病院が詳しく調べたところ、21日、日本脳炎に感染していることが確認され、22日に保健所に届け出たということです。国内でことし、患者が確認されたのは初めてです。熊本県内では去年3人の患者が確認され、このうち70代の女性が死亡しています ...

熊本県内の男性、日本脳炎に感染　2023年で全国初の確認

熊本県は22日、玉名郡の70代男性が日本脳炎に感染したと発表した。男性は意識障害などがあり、有明保健所管内の医療機関に入院中。今年に入り感染者が確認されたのは全国で初めて。県健康危機管理課によると、男性は4日に発熱やろれつが回らなくなるなどの構音障害の症状があり、医療機関を受診。呼吸状態も悪化し、21日に検査で陽性が確認された。日本脳炎は蚊の「コガタアカイエカ」が媒介するウイルスによる感染症。ウイルスに感染して日本脳炎を発症するのは100～千人に1人で、発症すると高熱やけいれんなどが1週間続くことがある。昨年は全国で患者5人を確認。うち3人は県内で、1人が死亡した。
