the state [West Bengal, India] で新たに1名がブルセラ症 brucellosis により死亡した。この50歳の男性は a resident of Gotepara under Nakashipara police station in Nadia [district].の住民だった。11月13日に突然発症して a private hospital in Alipur に入院し、同16日にブルセラ症の診断結果が報告されたが、24日に死亡した。自宅でウシを飼育していたとされている。

台湾において新生児としては10年ぶりとなる、4人の新生児のレジオネラ肺炎 Legionnaires' disease 感染が発生したと、24日 the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) が発表した。2月から10月までの間に異なる病院で出産された新生児で、生後6-10日目に発熱、呼吸困難、哺乳力低下、不活発などがみられ、レジオネラ肺炎と診断されている。いずれも完治した。

Influenza A(H1N2)v は、現在英国内のブタで感染が拡がっているインフルエンザウイルスに似たもので、英国内でヒトの感染が確認されたのは初めて。

Influenza A(H1N2)v virus was detected by UKHSA using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing and characterised using genome sequencing.
患者の症状は軽症で完治している。感染源はわかっていない。
