ナイジェリア国内で、1週間 one week, spanning 19 to 25 Feb 2024 のあいだに、新たに96例のラッサ熱 new Lassa fever infections と 23例の死亡 deaths across 12 states が確認された。2024年第8週の保健当局からの最新報告 The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its latest situation report によれば、66例 in week 7 から 96 cases に増加し、6例の医療従事者が含まれている。
from week 1 to 8 の累計では573 confirmed cases and 108 deaths with a case fatality rate (CFR) of 18.8% となり、2023年 (16.4%) から悪化した。
Breakdown
It further stated that 64% of all the confirmed cases were recorded from 3 states -- Ondo, Edo and Bauchi -- while 36% were from 21 states. Of the 64% confirmed cases, Edo accounted for 26%, Ondo, 23%, and Bauchi, 15%.

Measles case count up to 4 at Pilsen migrant shelter: CDPH

首都ハノイ The capital of Hanoi は、著しい増加がみられる新たな手足口病アウトブレイク new outbreaks of the hand-foot-mouth disease の封じ込めに動いている。先週 [week of 3 Mar 2024] だけで市内で37例の感染が確認され、前週比で19例増加したと保健当局者 a representative of the Hanoi Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) が8日述べた。
Most child infections were logged in Nam Tu Liem district (12), Ha Dong district (5), and Long Bien and Thanh Tri districts (3 each). Notably, the disease broke out at the Social Protection Center No. 3 in Nam Tu Liem district.
